 Little History of the Handbag!
 Blacksmiths used holdalls , nuns and monks wore chaplains, while ladies of high society sported elaborately decorated purses. At the time, small drawstring bags were very popular and if some - especially men working outside - preferred to carry leather bags, it was especially canvas or fabric bags that were popular.
